As an intern at GE Appliances, I researched historical kitchen trends, as well as current cross-industry trends in color, material and finish in order to gauge how interested people are in applying trending colors and finishes to durable goods. 

At each stage of this eight-month project, I was heavily involved in the research process - I performed desktop research, moderated and took notes at in-home research, compiled data into Excel spreadsheets, visualized the data graphically, and built presentation content. As my presentation is both a summary of results and a proposal for another round of research, I treated it as a graphic design project revolving around a few central graphic elements.
